Mr. Iqbal Ali Mohammed

Mr. Ali Mohammed is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (England & Wales) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Pakistan. Mr. Ali Mohammed is the Chairman of Board of Thar Energy Limited and he is also on the Board of various other companies in the power and textile industries, which include being the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Gul Ahmed Energy Limited and Gul Ahmed Wind Power Limited.

He is a Director of Metro Power Company Limited. Previously, Mr. Ali Mohammed has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited. He was also the Chairman of Mybank Limited and Excel Insurance Company Limited. In the past, Mr. Ali Mohammed has also held Chairmanships of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Sindh & Balochistan).

Mr. Ali Mohammed has also been a Director on the Board of Faysal Asset Management Limited, Swift Textile Mills Limited and the Karachi Stock Exchange.

Mr. Khalid Mansoor

Mr. Khalid Mansoor is a Graduate in Chemical Engineering with distinction and honors. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Hubco, the first and largest Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Pakistan, since May 20, 2013. The Company generates approximately 10% of the Country’s electricity and is the leading private sector player in evading the energy crisis faced by Pakistan. After becoming the CEO of Hubco in May 2013, he has transformed the Company and has initiated growth initiatives with Projects worth over US$ 3.5 billion under execution.

He is also Chairman of the Boards of Laraib Energy Limited, Narowal Energy Limited, Hub Power Services Limited and CEO of Hub Power Holding Limited. He is also a Director of Thar Energy Limited.

He was the President of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI) for the term 2017. He held the position of CEO of Algeria Oman Fertilizer Company (AOA) where he was responsible for setting up the world’s largest Ammonia and Urea Fertilizer Complex.

He has been the CEO of various Companies of the Engro Group and he has been a Director on the Boards of various Engro Group Companies and Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited.

He has over 38 years of experience in Energy and Petrochemical Sectors in leading roles for mega size projects development, execution, management and operations.

Mr. Lt Gen Tariq Khan, HI(M) (Retd)

He is Chief Executive & Managing Director of Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, FFC Energy Limited and Fauji Fresh n Freeze Limited and also holds directorship on the Boards of following:

He is Chairman of Sona Welfare Foundation (SWF) and Fertilizer Manufacturers of Pakistan Advisory Council (FMPAC) and member of the Board of Governors of Foundation University, Islamabad.

The General was commissioned in Pakistan Army in April 1977 with the coveted Sword of Honour. During his illustrious service in the Army, he had been employed on various prestigious command, staff and instructional assignments including command of a Strike Corps.

He is a graduate of Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defence University Islamabad. He also holds Master Degree in War Studies. He has served on the faculty of Command and Staff College Quetta and National Defence University Islamabad. Since his retirement, he is on the honorary faculty of renowned institutions including National Defence University as a senior mentor. The General possesses vast experience as adviser to the leading corporate entities.

He has been awarded Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military) and is also the first Pakistan Army General who has been conferred upon the U.S ‘Legion of Merit’ by the U.S Government for his meritorious services as a senior representative at U.S CENTCOM in Tampa, Florida.

Mr. Saleem Ullah Memon

Mr. Saleem Ullah Memon joined Hubco in March 2015 as Director Finance for the New Venture Division of the Company. He has been spearheading company’s efforts to arrange debt and equity financing for its growth projects. He is serving as the CEO of Thar Energy Limited since July 2017, a subsidiary of Hubco, which is developing a 330MW Coal Fired power plant in Thar.

Prior to joining Hubco, Saleem worked with Engro Corporation for 16 years and has diverse experience in the areas of finance, agri-marketing, business development and supply chain management.

Saleem is a graduate of Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.

Mr. Tahir Jawaid

An engineer by profession, Tahir Jawaid has over 31 years of vast experience and expertise in Fertilizer, Petrochemical & Power Sectors.

Currently, he is working as the Chief Executive Officer at HPSL, which is a subsidiary of The Hub Power Company Limited (HUBCO). HPSL has been incorporated to manage Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of its existing power assets and explore other O&M business opportunities onshore and offshore.

Previously, he was associated with HUBCO as Senior Vice President (Corporate Services & New Venture), to develop Projects based on imported & local Coal. Before joining Hubco he was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Public Affairs of Engro Corporation Limited.

He also worked in the United States in various capacities for system and design engineering companies.

During his professional career, he held key roles in Management of HR, Planning, Materials Warehouse Management and Maintenance Management Systems.

Mr. Jawaid obtained MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston, USA, and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan.

Mr. Munir Malik

He is a director on the Board of Askari General Insurance Company Limited and Fauji Fresh N Freeze Limited, Chief Financial Officer of Fauji Fresh n Freeze Limited and FFC Energy Limited.

He joined FFC in 1990 and has served as Group General Manager – Marketing prior to his appointment as CFO. During his career in FFC, he has worked at various key positions in Finance and Marketing Groups and has been actively involved in the strategic / financial planning of the Company. He also played an instrumental role in arrangement of syndicated debt for buyout of ex-Pak Saudi Fertilizer Limited, now FFC Plant-III.

Prior to joining FFC, he worked with Dowell Schlumberger (Western) S.A., an international oil service company and Attock Cement Pakistan Limited at senior finance positions.

He has undergone various professional trainings from Kellogg School of Business, Harvard Business School, Foster School of Business, Chicago Booth School of Business, Ross School of Business and Center for Creative Leadership, USA and IMD, Switzerland.

He is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

Mr. Abdul Nasir

Mr. Abdul Nasir has been with the Company since 1995. He is a seasoned finance executive with an excellent track record. After obtaining his training in the United States, Nasir joined a major accounting firm in Middle East where he worked in various positions before returning to Pakistan.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and also a life time member of the American Honor Society, Beta Gamma Sigma.
